Book our iDry Kiln for your Lumber

Let’s get your lumber ready for any project!

We are here to help dry your lumber! The iDry Kiln makes it easy, as this vacuum kiln dries wood faster than dehumidification kilns. It lowers the boiling point of the water molecule as well as creates a negative pressure environment that pulls the water from the center of the lumber.

Expectations and Results

  • We only accept wood that’s been air dried to less than 20%, with pine being an exception.

  • At that moisture content, we can confidently dry hardwoods 1 inch thickness per 7 - 10 days.

Cost and Availability

  • We are charging $1 per board foot per week.

    • This is higher than average kiln services, but the vacuum kiln also dries the wood faster, so less days in the kiln are needed.

  • Minimum of 500 bd ft.

    • The kiln fits between 1500-1800 bd/ft conservatively.
